Day 22: Wed 11 Mar - Canberra

14-25 deg C, a lovely day in Canberra
Ride G: 60km; total: 507km
Ride W: 60km; total: 286km
Walk G: 5km; total: 94km
Walk W: 4km; total: 90km

After breakfast we rode our new favourite route in Canberra - Gungahlin-Horse Park Drive-Majura Parkway. Decided to take a detour through Duntroon to see what developments have sprung up since leaving Canberra in 2007. Turns out, nothing much except for a HUGE health centre. Previously there were two small centres, one at Russell Offices and the other at Duntroon, and they were both old and in need of a revamp. The chapel is the same and like everything else at Duntroon, is very well maintained. On our way out the other side of the campus, we saw the Federation Guard performing some kind of ceremony out the front of the Land Combat College. Onwards to Kingston and Barton before stopping at Margot's for mornos. Back home via the usual route.

After lunch, Wendy did some more computer stuff for Dad, and Greg went to his favourite store to buy some clear corrugated plastic, screws and stuff for the panel above the main entrance to the house. While there he picked up some mulch and other goodies for the garden. Making more work for himself!
