On a cool, perfect morning Greg could not possibly pass up a chance to ride, so that's how he got to Church at Evatt Mosaic Baptist. Wendy stayed at home with Mum and Dad to watch Henry and Ben rowing at the Head of the River at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Rowing venue. Henry's quad got to the final and came 7th, which is a vast improvement on previous races at this level. Ben's team also got to the finals and came 4th by a small margin. Wendy enjoyed watching the events live online.
Wendy and Mum were having trouble getting into Mum's MyGov account, so we enlisted the help of the tech guru Dale. Not even he could fix it, and after waiting on hold for about 10 minutes, the nice lady on the phone, after a lot of questions and answers, told us that the account had been deleted/deactivated. When Wendy asked when, the date coincided with when she took Dad into Centrelink to have his account fixed. Not only did they cancel Dad's on that day, they decided it would be a good idea to cancel Mum's as well?! Fortunately, we did not have to attend the Services Australia office to create a new account for mum and it was completed in no time.
While Wendy and Dale were recreating the account, Greg went for a ride with Bob. Not long after finishing the job for Mum, Greg rang asking for a lift home - his chain had broken! He was back home not long after requesting the support. A trip to the bike shop (boys will do anything to get to the bike shop!) in the morning for a new chain.
While mum cooked the veggies for dinner tonight, Wendy cooked two pieces of salmon with fresh ginger and turmeric, a scotch fillet steak and a chicken breast with all spice and soy sauce. Much to her delight, all the protein dishes were perfect.
