5-22 deg C, a very fresh morning that did not really warm up much

After breakfast we hopped on a bus that leaves about 50m from our front door and headed to the Home and Lifestyle Show at Exhibition Park in Canberra (EPIC). There was a change of buses at Belconnen that took us to Gungahlin, where we used to live. Couldn't resist an early mornos here which was jolly nice - excellent coffees and quiches. We then jumped on the light rail to EPIC. The event was free, but you had to register, so we did that, then went exploring. We were not after any particular info, it was just a chance to get out of the house and do something a bit different. There was a tiny house on display, well not so tiny as it 12m x 3.45m, giving you a liveable space of 40㎡. It also comes with a not-so-tiny price tag of $199,000! However, this includes an access deck, staircase, air con units, roadworthy and registrable truck trailer, plus free onsite setup! When we built our house in 2008, it was $175,000 with 350㎡ living space.
After all the excitement of the show, we hopped back onto the light rail and ventured into the city for a wander through the Canberra Centre. We had lunch in the food court before finding the bus back to Belconnen. We arrived back home late afternoon.
