After breakfast, some pers admin was completed before Greg went to Church with Mum and Dad. It was great to be welcomed back to this wonderful, loving and caring Church, a bit like old-home-week. Tomorrow is Mum's 80th birthday and she has requested a photobook detailing this last Christmas, New Year, our time at Mollymook and this special time together. So, Wendy has a lot of work to do in the next couple of weeks and so she made a start. She also did some grocery shopping.
After lunch Greg went off to his favourite hardwood warehouse to get some supplies for a few handyman jobs while Wendy continued with the photobook. We were all looking forward to watching Ben row at the NSW Rowing Championships however, just as they were about to get out on the water, a "pause" was called due to an incoming severe storm with lightning. Unfortunately, racing was suspended for the remainder of the day, so not sure of any outcomes.
We were invited to Dale and Suz's for dinner of butterflied Greek style chicken, roasted sweet potato slices and roasted cauliflower with some tasty spice. Wendy is not usually a lover of cauliflower, but this was delicious, and preferred over steamed broccoli! As it is a school day tomorrow, we were home about 8pm. Another lovely day with family and friends in Canberra.
