Introduction

We are off to Canberra again. The main reason is to celebrate Mum's 80th birthday, but also the catch up with Dad and the whole family! We haven't exactly decided what day this will happen; with six grand children playing sports home and away, and their parents working, trying to lock in a date and time is near impossible. We are sure it will all come together in the end though.

After doing the Christmas trip only a few months ago, we have decided to split the drive into thee days not two.  We were quite knackered last time doing 9-10 hour days. We are not taking the van as we want to be close to Mum and Dad while they undergo a new phase in their 58 years of marriage (more will be revealed later if mum and dad agree).

The Cruiser clocked over 100,000km the other day, so it is only just run in really. We are hoping to get a lot more km out of it yet. It will be ready for its 104k km service when we get home in about a month's time.
